When was the last time you were excited about a CMS?

Photoxpress_1906229.jpgI've spent over a year working with Concrete5, but until recently, I haven't done anything more than the basic website.
From Joomla to Drupal to even Wordpress, I never found the basic site so quick to develop than with Concrete5.

Maybe it's like a new truck.  You don't want to take it off-road, or really push it until one day you notice a scratch here, and a ding there.  OK you say to yourself, it's not new anymore, I can take it for a spin.

So I've done just that, I've challenged myself to build increasingly more difficult websites.  I've taken on larger clients and have found that this CMS meets their demands!  I've never worked with a system where the client needed no additional traning after my deployment of the site.

So, if you are just starting out with Concrete5, go ahead and challenge yourself.  Take that truck offroading.  Try to build a multilingual site, try to use custom attributes to affect the page rendering, try making a mobile version of the site.  You never know, you may have a client around the corner who needs just that.

Safe driving, and happy coding!
